A new season is here! It was only a month ago that we had roads, schools even churches closed down because of then snow, and now the trees are blooming again! So how does the furniture & bedding retail sales looks like for 2011? According to a post from furnituretoday.com (you can read it here), Furniture and bedding retail sales totaled $82.5 billion in 2010. This amount is projected to climb up to $90.7 billion by 2015, almost a 10% growth in a 4 year period (pretty much in pace with the US economic outlook according to the CBO, here). Things are finally starting to brighten up for the furniture industry, after 2 declining years (2008-2009) and a “somewhat” slow year (2010). Here’s the chart from furniture today:

Hi there! We’ve made some changes to “List a new item” that will make things easier and faster when it comes to listing. We’ve got rid of some fields such as “subcategory”, “condition” & “quantity” that were not that necessary, so listing items will be much shorter now.
